So when the plumber asks what height you want the mixer, you say "um, normal height?" and he nods and puts it wherever he usually puts it. And that is fine, until you are standing in the finished room wondering why the tap sits so low over the basin.
None of that is your fault. Nobody handed you the language for it.
That is a lot to carry on your own.

I am not here to redesign your spaces.
You are good at the creative part. That is the bit you actually want to do.
I am here for everything underneath it. The heights. The set out. The measurements your trades need so they are building to a number instead of a guess.
Because here is the thing about renovating.
Changes are free on paper. They are brutal in concrete.
WHAT YOU GET
01 / Selections schedule template
A document built around what your bathroom actually needs. Tapware, tiles, finishes, with prompts at every line.
Everything in one place, instead of scattered across screenshots and showroom notes and a text you sent yourself at 11pm.
02 / Review of your selections
You have a go. Then I go through your picks and flag anything worth a second look.
Tile types that quietly triple your tiler's labour cost. Finishes that will not survive your actual life. Floor tiles that are not rated for a wet area. Light fittings that are not IP rated for where you want them.
You do the fun part. I catch what is easy to miss before anything is ordered.
03 / Sketches, each elevation
Annotated and dimensioned drawings of every wall. Shower niche and ledge heights, tap and mixer centrelines, mirror and vanity heights, lighting placements, and anything else your trades need to work from.
Trades love these. It takes the guesswork off their plate and gives them one less thing to think about.
And it means your bathroom gets built the way you pictured it, not the way somebody was feeling that day.
04 / Voice notes and calls
Four weeks of voice notes and photos back and forth, plus two 45 minute calls.
Because the questions never come up when it suits you. They come up standing in the room with a trade waiting for an answer.

05 / Site visits
Charged hourly, not included in the base rate.
There is one moment worth having me physically there. When the frame is up and the plumbing, cabling and electricals are all still visible, but before the sheeting goes on and everything disappears.
06 / Extra hours
$325 per hour, if anything comes up outside the original scope.
A clear number, agreed up front, so there is never an awkward conversation about cost later.

HOW IT WORKS
One. We talk. Forty five minutes. You tell me the space, the plan, the trades, the timeline, and everything you are unsure about.
Two. You choose. You fill in your selections schedule at your own pace. I review it and flag what needs a second look.
Three. I sketch. Elevations for every wall, dimensioned and annotated, ready to hand straight to your trades.
Four. I stay close. Voice notes, photos and a second call across the four weeks, right through the pre-agreed period of time.
INVESTMENT GUIDE
$3,200 Rooms up to 12sqm (ie bathrooms).
Larger spaces by quote.
Includes everything above except site visits and extra hours.
Additional hours beyond scope: $325 per hour.
Site visits: charged hourly, by arrangement.
QUESTIONS
Do I need to have chosen everything already? No. Most people have not. That is usually why they call.
What if my trades start next week? Then let's talk today. The most useful window is before the plumber and electrician set anything out, so there is still plenty worth doing.
Are the sketches proper architectural drawings? No, and they do not need to be. They are annotated and dimensioned, built to communicate to your trades. That is exactly what a bathroom this size needs.
Do you work outside the Gold Coast? Yes. Everything except site visits works remotely. Site visits beyond the Gold Coast are by arrangement.
Will you tell me what to choose? I will tell you what will cost you, what will not last, and what your trades might not be able to build. What you love is still yours to decide.
Renovating is one of the few things where the details you love at the end have to be decided before you can see any of them.
That is a strange way to make decisions. No wonder it feels hard.
You do not need to know everything.
You just need someone in your corner who does.
